Julia Fox is no longer anyone else’s muse.
The Uncut Gems actress reflected on the cosmetic surgeries she’s previously undergone—including liposuction, a rhinoplasty and veneers—and how she feels about them now, sharing that she sometimes regrets the reasons she got them done.
“When I see someone and I can tell they’ve never done anything,” Julia told Allure in an interview published Aug. 19, “I wish I could go back and be that person. I was so hung up on this idea that I needed to be attractive to men so that I could survive.”
But thanks to her self-reflections, the 35-year-old—who revealed she started getting Botox and fillers around the age of 21—is confident that she doesn’t “have to entertain men anymore.” Still, she admitted, “I probably will [get more work done one day], but I’m just not as concerned with it right now.”
Plus, the fashion pioneer wants to avoid falling into the trap of needing “to stay young and hot.”
