Bunnie Xo took to social media this week to give fans a peek at a swoon-worthy moment with her husband Jelly Roll.
“If he wanted to he would ladies,” the Dumb Blonde podcaster captioned a TikTok video showing her country-star hubby dragging her onstage to slow dance while Lainey Wilson performed her hit 2024 single “4x4xU.”
“Me: Hiding from the crowd bc I had a long day & hadn’t planned on coming to this shindig. Him: ‘Mama it’s our song, come dance with me!’” Bunnie wrote at the start of the minute-long clip. As Wilson broke into the song’s chorus, Jelly Roll finally manages to coax his wife into the spotlight, singing along to the lyrics as they dance hand in hand.
Although the country singer’s wife tried to bolt offstage after a few moments, she eventually decided to stay put and enjoy the romantic gesture, writing, “Giving into the moment, bc I’m learning memories are priceless…He always [knows] how to make me have the biggest smile,” and adding a teary-eyed emoji for good measure.
The couple’s sweet onstage moment came just before Thursday’s (May 8) 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards in Frisco, Texas, where Jelly Roll is nominated for three awards, including entertainer of the year, male artist of the year and album of the year (for his 2024 LP Beautifully Broken). He’s also set to perform during tonight’s telecast with Shaboozey just one week after the pair hit the stage at Stagecoach together.
Meanwhile, Wilson earned six nominations of her own, including entertainer of the year, female artist of the year, album of the year (for 2024’s Whirlwind), song of the year and visual media of the year (both for “4x4xU”). Ahead of the telecast, Reba McEntire and Miranda Lambert surprised Wilson with the award for artist-songwriter of the year, and during the show, the trio will debut their brand-new collaboration “Trailblazer.”
