New York isn’t the only city throwing a big, televised bash for New Year’s Eve. Nashville will once again ring in the new year with a twang, with top country artists like Lainey Wilson and Jason Aldean slated to perform. Comedian Bert Kreischer will host the special alongside country musician Hardy.
At a Glance: How to Watch New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash
New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash kicks off Dec. 31 from 8 to 10 p.m. ET/PT, with a half-hour break in the broadcast for local news. The special resumes at 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. ET/PT, with the Music Note dropping at midnight. The special airs live on CBS and will be available to stream on Paramount+ (through the Premium plan).
The live event will be held at the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in Nashville. As for attending in person, the event will be free and open to the public. This will be the fifth iteration of CBS’ New Year’s special.
Other performers include Rolling Stone cover star Megan Moroney, Bailey Zimmerman, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Rascal Flatts, Zach Top, Keith Urban, and more.
Last year’s iteration was hosted by Keith Urban and featured performances from Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Luke Bryan, Shaboozey, Eric Church, and Chris Stapleton.
Other major NYE specials include ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, and CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live, hosted by Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper.
