Today, the honorees and presenters were announced for the 14th Annual Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards, in partnership with Variety. The annual awards ceremony, taking place on Nov. 5 in Los Angeles, honors behind-the-scenes artisans whose work helps bring movies to life.
The honorees and presenters include:
- Director: Benny Safdie for “The Smashing Machine” presented by Dwayne Johnson
- Hair & Makeup: Mike Hill for “Frankenstein” presented by Guillermo del Toro
- Score: Nicholas Britell for “Jay Kelly” presented by Barry Jenkins
- Property Master: Douglas Ware for “Sinners” presented by Miles Caton
- Sound: Al Nelson, Gary Rizzo & Juan Peralta for “F1” presented by Joseph Kosinski
- Production Design: Inbal Weinberg for “Roofman” presented by Channing Tatum
- Costume Design: Colleen Atwood for “One Battle After Another” presented by Teyana Taylor
- Editing: Pamela Martin for “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere” presented by Scott Cooper
- Cinematographer: Matthew Libatique for “Is This Thing On?”
- Screenwriting: Hikari & Stephen Blahut for “Rental Family” presented by Steven Yeun
The evening ceremonies will be hosted by actor and comedian Sasheer Zamata.

Previous honorees at Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards have included Jon Batiste, Ryan Reynolds, Kristen Wiig, Joe Walker, Barry Jenkins, Luca Guadagnino, Viola Davis, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Darren Aronofsky, and Denis Villeneuve.
