Goldie Hawn’s Granddaughter Rio Joins Her on The Red Carpet

Goldie Hawn has another rising star on her hands.

The actress joined her family on the red carpet in New York City to celebrate her son Oliver Hudson’s role in Happy Gilmore 2—but it was her 12-year-old granddaughter who stole the show.

Indeed, Oliver and wife Erinn Bartlett’s daughter Rio was her grandmother’s mini-me during the July 21 outing. The preteen was all smiles as she rocked a yellow boho style dress reminiscent of Goldie’s blue pattern boho dress she wore for the event.

Together, the duo flashed smiles and cuddled close as they posed alongside Oliver, Erinn and their two sons Wilder, 17, and Bodhi, 14.

But Rio’s red carpet appearance isn’t the only proof she’s ready to showcase her presence. In fact, Rio is ready to follow in the footsteps of her famous family—which also includes aunt Kate Hudson.

“She wants it,” Oliver told Access Hollywood.“She’s an amazing dancer. It’s in her genes. But we’re gonna do plays first.”
