Garrett Hedlund Shares Father’s Day Plans With Son Rhodes

Garrett Hedlund is preparing for an extra special Father’s Day.

While the actor is currently filming a new season of Tulsa King, he’ll be able to celebrate the holiday away from set with his and ex Emma Roberts‘ 4-year-old son Rhodes.

“It’s looking beautiful for me,” Hedlund told E! News of his schedule. “If I was working every single day that week, the little man was gonna come down and we’d journey all throughout Georgia. But it looks like it might be a nice little getaway to the farm.”

And it’ll be a well-deserved getaway for Hedlund, who’s also starring in the new film Barron’s Cove. The movie, out June 6, follows Caleb (Hedlund), who—while grieving the sudden death of his son—kidnaps the boy he believes is responsible.

“It really posed the question of, ‘How far would you go for your child?'” he explained. “And for that, I could really relate to the character I play, because there would be no bounds, no limits.”
