Tommy Hilfiger is racing towards the fast lane with a new partnership with “F1: The Movie,” fronted by a global campaign starring the film’s breakout lead Damson Idris. The collaboration, creatively led by Sid Lee Sport, is coupled with a limited-edition paddock collection inspired by the fictional F1 team from the film.

Designed by Hilfiger and worn by Idris’s character, Joshua Pearce, the APXGP Collection channels the movie’s sleek, kinetic energy with a blend of track-ready tailoring and contemporary flair. “Working with Tommy Hilfiger and “F1® The Movie” has been an unforgettable ride — an authentic blend of iconic style and cinematic power,” Idris said in a statement. Last month, the actor arrived at the Met Gala in a custom APXGP race car before transforming into a red tuxedo on the carpet.

The campaign’s global rollout includes a visually striking anamorphic billboard in London’s Piccadilly Circus. This is where fashion, entertainment, and motorsport converge,” Fabian Staudinger, Tommy Hilfiger’s Global Director of Culture, Collaborations & Partnerships, said in a statement. “We’re proud to be leading that cultural dialogue.”

For Lee Sport, who won the project through a competitive pitch, the campaign is a landmark activation. “Tommy Hilfiger is writing a whole new playbook,” Mike Grumbridge, the brand’s managing director, said in a statement. “It’s an honor to activate what may be the most hotly anticipated movie of the year.”

The APXGP Collection drops June 3 and is available at Tommy Hilfiger stores globally, online at tommy.com and via select retailers. F1® The Movie races into theaters and IMAX screens starting June 25 internationally and June 27 in North America.
