Two weeks after he scored his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart, Don Toliver returns to the winner’s circle with his second champ, “E85,” atop the list dated Feb. 28. The new leader follows the rapper/singer’s “Body” ruling the chart dated Feb. 14 (between the pair, J. Cole’s “Two Six” topped the ranking).
In its third week on the chart, “E85” rises from the runner-up spot to lead the multi-metric Hot Rap Songs list. The track’s coronation traces almost entirely to its 12.5 million official on-demand streams, with 62,000 radio airplay impressions and a negligible amount of track sales contributing minimal activity in the United States for the Feb. 13-19 tracking week, according to Luminate.
“E85” was the most-streamed rap song of the week, ascending 2-1 to crown the Rap Streaming Songs chart for the first time. (Rap songs are defined as titles that have appeared on are eligible for the Hot Rap Songs chart.)
Both “E85” and “Body” are from Don Toliver’s new studio album, OCTANE. The set, released on Donnway & Co./Cactus Jack/Atlantic Group, debuted at No. 1 on the Top Rap Albums chart earlier this month and finishes at No. 2 on this week’s results.
The two tracks also share a notable co-producer, Travis Scott. Thanks to his involvement, the rapper, also the founder of the Cactus Jack imprint and a frequent Don Toliver collaborator, earned his second and third No. 1s on Hot Rap Songs in a production capacity, following his own track “Franchise,” featuring Young Thug and M.I.A. in 2020. As an artist, Scott owns seven Hot Rap Songs No. 1, from 2018’s “Sicko Mode” through 2025’s “4×4.”
Elsewhere, “E85” improves 6-4 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and rebounds 21-20 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.
Now a two-time Hot Rap Songs champ, Don Toliver enjoyed 30 prior appearances before his first No. 1. For years, his best peak was No. 3, achieved twice through featured roles: He and NAV guested on Internet Money and Gunna’s “Lemonade,” which reached the bronze in November 2020, while his and Future’s supporting turns on Metro Boomin’s “Too Many Nights” led to the same prize in December 2022. As a lead artist, his own “Tiramisu” marked his previous career high – No. 6 – in September 2025.
