Dominic Curran Joins CAA Brand Consulting to Head International Growth

Veteran marketing executive Dominic Curran has joined CAA to head international growth for the CAA Brand Consulting division.

Curran will work in collaboration with Aubree Curtis, Jeff Eccleston and Liz Gray, who are global co-heads of CAA Brand Consulting. He will relocate from New York to London in January.

“Dom is an exceptional business leader, whose expertise in building brands and businesses, combined with his global perspective and proven track record in driving client and revenue growth, will supercharge our efforts to further globalize our business,” said Eccleston.

CAA Brand Consulting works for such blue-chip clients as Qualcomm, Bose, T-Mobile, Constellation Brands and Allianz, among others. It has executives in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Jacksonville, Nashville, Washington, D.C., London, Munich, Beijing, UAE and Singapore. Per CAA, the agency is “advising, managing, activating and measuring” more than $5 billion worth of marketing activity for clients.

Curran comes to CAA after spending the past four years as managing director for the Americas for sports marketing agency MKTG. Over his long career he’s worked on top-tier marketing campaigns for the NFL, NBA and Formula 1, among other sports. Earlier in his career, Curran served as global sports director for Bacardi and he worked in the marketing department at the Lawn Tennis Association in London.

“I am thrilled at this opportunity, which combines my recent experience in North American sports and entertainment marketing with my international background, to further extend CAA’s relationships, reach and resources, as we set out to accelerate the globalization of the Brand Consulting business,” Curran said.
