The wonder years never end when you’re a mom—just ask Danica McKellar.
The Wonder Years alum celebrated her son Draco‘s 15th birthday on Sept. 7, sharing photos of him from a baby all the way up to a teenager towering over her 5’4″ frame.
“Draco, it has been such an incredible joy to be your mom,” she wrote on Instagram, “to watch you grow and help you thrive over the last decade and a half.”
While Danica, who shares Draco with ex-husband Mike Verta, said it’s “tempting to feel sad” over how fast time flew by, she noted that those earlier days “have built a legacy of memories to keep us connected once you’re grown.”
“And as I watch you grow in independence (and height!),” the 50-year-old continued, “my heart feels the fullness of that legacy we are still building.”
She jokingly added, “But you’re not quite grown yet—in fact, everyone please say a little prayer as we enter the season of learning to drive…!”
