Shortly after the conference, the Chicago Bears posted a photo of him smiling as he signed the extension. And if the shot wasn’t supportive enough, the NFL team’s general manager Ryan Poles also gave Tyson his flowers.
“We are fortunate to ensure that Tyson remains a member of the Chicago Bears,” Ryan expressed in a statement that same day. “He is one of the hardest workers on our team and in addition to being a great competitor and teammate, he is a catalyst for positive influence throughout our entire organization.”
The Bears’ coach Ben Johnson echoed the sentiment.
“Tyson epitomizes what we are building at the Chicago Bears,” he added. “We are constructing a team that is driven by belief and built by hard work, and there is no better example of that than Tyson Bagent.”
