Broadway star and illusionist Rob Lake has signed with WME.
Lake recently starred on Broadway for the holiday special “Rob Lake Magic With Special Guests The Muppets” at the Broadhurst Theatre.
He appeared on “America’s Got Talent” in 2018 and during his audition, he appeared out of thin air. Simon Cowell who was a judge on the show at the time told him, “You have magic powers. You do, you have them. This is exactly what you should be doing. It was very unique. It was a great audition, well done.”
The performance went viral, and Lake went on the quarter finals.
Since then he has performed in casinos, arenas, and theaters in more than 60 countries worldwide.
Beyond his own stage, Lake is widely regarded as the world’s most sought-after Architect of Illusion, serving as illusion designer, magic consultant, and creative collaborator for some of entertainment’s most high-profile productions, including multiple Broadway shows, Disney’s “Aladdin,” the musical “Death Becomes Her,” “Harry Potter” global philharmonic concert tours, “Sesame Street Live,” Walt Disney Imagineering projects, and as creative consultant and illusion designer for Adele’s Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace.
In 2008, Lake became the youngest magician in history to receive magic’s highest honor — The Merlin Award for International Stage Magician of the Year.
To-date, Lake has sold over 1 million tickets to his must-see productions, which he not only stars in, but is the creator, designer, and engineer behind every illusion. Online, he boasts over 80 million YouTube and Facebook video views.
