Billy Barratt, the fast-rising British actor who landed strong critical praise for his performance in the A24 horror “Bring Her Back,” has signed with CAA.
In Variety‘s review of the Philippous Brothers’ follow up to their genre smash hit “Talk to Me,” it said it was “striking to see a young actor like Barratt, who has the look of a Robert Pattinson in the making, burrow so far into insecurity and terror.”
The 18-year-old made, who marked his big screen debut in 2016 with “To Dream,” made history in 2019 when, at the age of 13, he became the youngest-ever winner of the International Emmy Award for best actor for his portrayal of “Ray” in the BBC drama “Responsible Child.” The film went on to earn two BAFTA nominations and saw renewed success with its 2025 Netflix UK re-release, where it held the No. 1 spot for two weeks.
Barratt’s additional film credits include Sony/Marvel’s “Kraven the Hunter,” Amazon MGM Studios’ “My Spy: Eternal City,” Disney’s “Crater,” “Blinded By the Light” and “Mary Poppins Returns.”
He’ll next star opposite David Jonsson, Cooper Hoffman and Paul Dano in India Donaldson’s sophomore feature “The Chaperones.” The A24 road trip dramedy is produced by Plan B and Icki Eneo Arlo.
On the television side, Barratt is perhaps best known for his long-running role as “Caspar Morrow” on Apple TV+’s sci-fi series “Invasion,” where he has been a central character across three seasons. He is also set to star as Dylan Sedgwick in the upcoming George Kay series “Gone” GONE.
Earlier television work includes roles as Ralph Selfridge in ITV’s “Mr. Selfridge,” Prince Arthur in Starz’s “The White Princess,” Young Scrooge in FX’s “A Christmas Carol,” “The Alienist” and “Sharknado 5.”
Barratt continues to be represented by SYA, Ace MGMT, and Stewart Brookman at Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, Richman, Rush, Kaller, Gellman, Meigs & Fox.
