Benjamin Norris and Zión Moreno have joined the horror-satire “Corporate Retreat.”
Norris is best known for his recurring role as Trent Harrison in the award-winning TV series “Never Have I Ever” and his performance in the second season of the Disney+ show “Andor.” Most recently, Moreno played Luna La in the “Gossip Girl” reboot and Heather in the Hulu feature film “Prom Dates.”
They round out an ensemble that includes veterans like Alan Ruck (“Succession”), Rosanna Arquette (“Pulp Fiction”), Simona Tabasco (“White Lotus”), Ashton Sanders (“Moonlight”), and Odeya Rush (“Lady Bird”). Principal photography starts in June. Aaron Fisher (“Inside the Rain”) is directing “Corporate Retreat” from a script that he co-wrote with Kerri Lee Romeo. Uri Singer (“White Noise”) will produce the film.
“I am happy to welcome more incredible talent to ‘Corporate Retreat,’” Singer said in a statement. “This cast continues to exceed expectations, and I’m proud to be working with such a dynamic, genre-defining group of actors.”
Also, Omar Sharif Jr. will follow in his Oscar-nominated grandfather’s footsteps as he joins the cast, marking his first acting role in the U.S. Sharif’s namesake appeared in classics like “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Doctor Zhivago.”
“Corporate Retreat” is a horror-thriller that follows a group of corporate executives whose team-building getaway spirals into a violent struggle for survival when their retreat leader reveals a deadly agenda.
In addition to “White Noise,” Singer has produced films such as “Experimenter,” “Tesla,” and “Marjorie Prime.” He is also producing an adaptation of Don DeLillo’s “Underworld,” with Ted Melfi writing and directing.
