Ayesha Curry Shares Rare Insight Into Her and Stephen Curry’s Home Life With 4 Kids
Ayesha Curry’s definition of an all-star life has changed over the years.
In fact, the celebrity chef—who shares kids Riley, 14, Ryan, 10, Canon, 7, and Caius, 13 months, with husband Stephen Curry, 37—revealed she wasn’t interested in starting a family before meeting the NBA player.
“I didn’t want kids. I didn’t want to get married,” Ayesha, 36, shared on the Aug. 20 episode of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast. “I thought I was gonna be a career girl and that’s it. I had my eyes set on my goals. I was never the little girl that dreamt about the wedding dress and all of that. And then it happened so early in my life.”
Indeed, the couple became close at a young age. They first met as teens in 2003 and started dating five years later, when they relocated from North Carolina to California to focus on their careers. At the time, Ayesha was 19 while Stephen was 20. The duo tied the knot in 2011, nearly two years after he was drafted to the NBA.
