AMC Networks International (AMCNI) has hired Tom Keaveney as executive vp and managing director of its U.K. business. Based in London, he will report to Eduardo Zulueta, president of AMC Networks International and succeed Kevin Dickie.
In the role, Keaveney will “lead the company’s business operations in the region, overseeing programming, marketing, as well as its growing FAST offerings and working in close collaboration with the company’s global commercial revenue, content licensing, finance and technology teams,” the company said.
“Tom is an experienced executive with a strong track record of leading innovative organisations in the advanced advertising, measurement and technology space,” said Zulueta. “He joins our U.K. business at a time of great opportunity as we look to drive audience engagement across our owned and partner platforms, bolster our relationships with key industry partners in the region and maximize the value of our content and brands.”
Said Keaveney: “I am very excited to join AMC Networks International and help the team deliver their next phase of growth in the U.K. As our industry continues to navigate this period of change, the combination of AMC’s outstanding programming, great positioning in the U.K. market and strong local partnerships positions us well for new opportunities and success going forward.”
Keaveney joins AMCNI-U.K. from iSpot.tv, a TV advertising and measurement firm, where he served as executive vp and head of business development. Prior to its acquisition by iSpot.tv, Keaveney was president of 605, the data and analytics firm founded by AMC Networks CEO Kristin Dolan.
Earlier in his career, Keaveney held senior leadership roles at such technology firms as Worn Again Technologies, where he served as CEO from 2018 to 2021, AdScribe Limited, where he was co-founder and president from 2014 to 2023, as well as Emuse Corporation and Morgan Ventures. He began his career at Goldman Sachs & Co in the investment banking division.
