Jimmy Kimmel Roasts Donald Trump and Elon Musk for ‘Nuclear’ Feud

The epic blowout between Donald Trump and Elon Musk has delighted late-night hosts, but no one more than Jimmy Kimmel. On the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host noted, “This is so hard on everyone, except me of course. This is great for me.”

Kimmel acknowledged that his team “had a whole other plan” for the show, but couldn’t resist commenting on the Trump-Musk feud. The host noted that after Musk taking a few shots earlier this week, things have now accelerated quickly.

“Elon Musk went absolutely nuclear,” Kimmel said. “He tweeted — let’s put that up on the big screen — ‘Time to drop the really big bomb. Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they’ve not been made public.’ I knew this day would come, and yet somehow it’s even better than I imagined. It’s like coming down the stairs on Christmas morning and finding a second tree.”

He continued, “That’s a serious accusation. What does Elon know? What evidence could there possibly be that Trump was in league with Jeffrey Epstein?” Kimmel then played archival images and footage of Trump and Epstein together, adding, “If it’s not true, he could get sued for a zillion dollars for something like that.”

Kimmel reminded viewers that in February Musk tweeted that he loves Trump “as much as a straight man can love another man.” “They couldn’t quit each other,” Kimmel said. “It was like ‘Woke-back Mountain’ with these two. Now it’s all gone. And battle lines are being drawn.” He noted that he even Kanye West got involved. “You know things are nuts when the guy trying to bring everyone together is Kanye West!” Kimmel said.

Kimmel concluded by wondering where this feud might go next. “You’ve got one MAGA hero accusing another MAGA hero of withholding the Epstein files because he himself is a part of them,” he said. “And what do they do? I can’t wait to find out. My prediction: at the end of this, one of them’s in a cell with Diddy. That’s what I think happens.”
