Anyone who missed out on the very tough-to-get tickets for Hayley Williams‘ current tour of theaters will soon get a shot at picking up seats for a run of shows she’s doing in amphitheaters in the fall … although all indicators are that even these more sizable venues may prove to be a tough ticket, too.
The Paramore singer announced dates Thursday afternoon for her “The Hayley Williams Show — Live in the Americas” tour, which will take place in the U.S. in early September through mid-October, then move to Latin America for the month of October.
The setlists for these fall shows will differ from what she’s currently doing on the road in smaller venues. Her theater tour has consisted almost entirely of material from her “Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party,” but the “Hayley Williams Show” tour in the fall will expand to include material from all three of her solo album, “as well as exciting surprises.” That last phrase could mean Paramore songs or could mean more covers — take it for what you will until we find out for sure around Labor Day.
Two of the U.S. cities on the tour were already announced and had tickets go on sale — two-night stands at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium and L.A.’s Hollywood Bowl — and those two engagements immediately sold out. So fans may need to be quick to pick up seats for the shows that have just been announced in Boston, Atlanta, Palm Beach, Charlotte, Detroit, New Orleans, Houston, Seattle, San Diego, Raleigh and other cities. (Scroll down for the full itinerary of new and previously announced concerts.)
The tickets go on sale in one week, on May 14 at 10 a.m. local time.
Magdalena Bay and Rico Nasty are the openers in the U.S., while Annie DiRusso will handle those duties in Latin America and Puerto Rico.

Given the demand that’s already been demonstrated for Williams tickets, it’s not surprising that there is a regimen involved for getting seats for these new shows. “To ensure tickets reach genuine fans,” the announcement says, “a verified presale registration process has been established. Registration for the HW HQ presale opens at 3 p.m. ET on May 7 via https://hayleywilliams.club.os.fan/thws. In the U.S., the tour uses Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange to help fans get tickets at the original price. Tickets will be non-transferable and can only be resold on Ticketmaster at face value. In Illinois and New York where laws prevent resale restrictions, tickets can be transferred but Ticketmaster will still honor Hayley Williams’s terms by keeping resale prices at face value on its site.”
