American Express is throwing a fashionable celebration for the 60th birthday of the Amex Gold Card.
To mark the milestone, , the financial giant has partnered with Los Angeles–based label Staud on a limited-edition resortwear capsule, available starting Thursday online and in Staud stores. The eight-piece collection, priced between $145 and $595, pulls directly from American Express’ Hotel Collection — a curated program available to Gold Card members — with inspired patchwork prints and souvenir-style motifs. The collection launched alongside a campaign film starring model and actress Laura Harrier.
“Travel has always been one of my biggest sources of inspiration,” Sarah Stauding, Staud’s co-founder and creative director, says in a statement. “I love the idea that the best souvenirs aren’t things, they’re moments – destinations that stay with you, meals that become stories, and the details you collect along the way. This capsule is our way of turning those memories into something you can wear, with ‘Member Since’ as a nod to personal history and a life well lived. Partnering with Amex on a collection rooted in travel felt incredibly natural.”
Among the standout pieces are a reworked version of Staud’s Timmy bag and a graphic “Member Since ’66” T-shirt, a nod to the Gold Card’s launch year and its now-iconic cardface detail. The collection also includes a mix of ready-to-wear and accessories, with several unisex styles.
The launch is accompanied by a promotional offer for American Express Gold Card members, who can receive a $90 statement credit after spending $350 or more at Staud between March 26 and June 30.
