2026 Actor Awards Red Carpet: Looks & Arrivals (Photos)

Newness abounds at the 2026 Actor Awards on Sunday night at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles — starting with that name. Formerly the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the name change was announced in November to both align with the name of the event’s trophy — “The Actor” — while also reflecting that SAG is far from alone. Since 2012 the 160,000-strong labor union is SAG-AFTRA, the latter representing the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. Technically the proper full name of the rebranded event is “The Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA,” but that surely will prove to be too much of a mouthful for many.

The other notable change: a requested dress code. “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour From the ’20s and ’30s” is the style theme of the evening, born out of a partnership with Elle magazine and Netflix, which is airing The Actor Awards. A Hearst publication, Elle is striving to create similar viral style moments as Conde Nast’s Vogue and May’s Met Gala.

As stars get set to honor 2025’s best performances in film and television, will they embrace the requested dressing theme as ardently as they might at the Met Gala? Early arrivals indicate some have jumped into the style details of those decades, from Patrick Schwarzenegger in a double-breasted Tom Ford suit that feels Gatsby-esque to the feathered boa Sheryl Lee Ralph paired with her Saiid Kobeisy gown.

Here’s a look at all of the arrivals, which The Hollywood Reporter will update throughout the night.
