Jim Cantrell helped launch SpaceX. Now he’s helping to build AI data centers — in space. His company, Phantom Space, mass-manufactures rockets and spacecraft and it’s building orbital data centers called Phantom Cloud to power AI in space. As demand for computing explodes, Earth’s data centers are hitting limits. Cantrell’s solution is to move the cloud off the planet. He joined “Bloomberg Open Interest” to talk about the new frontier.
