Mina Smallman told the BBC she was pleased that Panorama investigated the Metropolitan police.
“We cannot turn a blind eye to this, we have to really address it”, Smallman said, adding that “when their guard is down we get to see what they’re really like”.
Smallman’s two daughters were murdered and photos of their dead bodies shared by two officers who were later jailed.
A BBC Panorama undercover investigation showed evidence of misogyny and racism that challenges the Met’s promise to have tackled what it calls “toxic behaviours” after the murder of Sarah Everard by a serving police officer.
