UCLA’s Payments to Athletes Already Nearing $5 Million
The University of California, Los Angeles has already paid out $4.8 million to athletes under a new revenue-sharing rule. Martin Jarmond, the Alice & Nahum Lainer Family director of athletics at UCLA, says “a lot of checks are being signed in August and more to come.” He spoke at the Bloomberg Power Players Conference in New York.
