SZA Reveals the Advice She Got From Keke Palmer For Their Film ‘One of Them Days’ (Exclusive)
SZA almost had an SOS.
The “Kill Bill” singer avoided a major tumble at the last minute while performing on stage in Minneapolis during opening night of her co-headlining tour with Kendrick Lamar.
In a video shared to X (formerly Twitter) from the April 19 concert, SZA attempted a move with one of her male backup dancers by wrapping her leg around his waist and putting her arm around her shoulder. But as her partner tried to spin her around, her leg got caught behind his, causing both of them to stumble while intertwined.
Luckily, the mishap didn’t lead to any major disasters, as before it could turn into a terrible fall SZA managed to untangle herself, and the pair continued on with the choreography for her song “Diamond Boy.”
Following the blunder, fans were impressed by the Grammy winner’s ability to stay calm under pressure.
“That recovery was smoother than most people’s entrances!” one X user commented on the clip, while another added, “Nice comeback!”
